●Notes when making a reservation
The conditions for reservations for rubber boat tours offered by our company are as follows.
Please read and understand before making a reservation.
A. Conditions for reservation completion
A reservation is not completed at the time of making a reservation application via the reservation form on this page, email, phone, etc. A reservation is completed when our company receives the boarding fee. Reservation deposits can only be paid by credit card on this page.
B. Reservation Application Conditions
Children under 13 years of age at the time of application must be accompanied by a guardian.
There are restrictions on boarding for people with disabilities, so please contact us in advance.
The passenger capacity is 2 adults. Reservations that exceed this capacity cannot be accepted. Junior high school students and above are counted as adults. Two children under elementary school age are counted as one adult, so up to 1 adult and 2 children can board.
Pets are not allowed on board.
C. Cancellation Conditions
1. If you cancel your reservation for personal reasons after it has been confirmed, the following cancellation fees will be charged.
6 to 2 days before the boarding date: 30% of the total amount
The day before the boarding date: 80% of the total amount
On the day of boarding: 100% of the total amount
(No cancellation fee will be charged up to 7 days before the boarding date.)
(Cancellation fee will be paid by refunding the difference from the fee paid in advance.)
2. We may cancel your reservation with prior notice to the customer in the following cases.
When it is deemed difficult for the customer to board due to illness or other health reasons
When there is a possibility that the customer may cause inconvenience to other customers or hinder the smooth implementation of the tour
When it is determined that the departure of the ship is dangerous due to the influence of weather and hydrological conditions
When an unavoidable event such as a natural disaster, fire, or engine failure of the ship occurs
3. If we cancel your reservation for reasons described above in 2., we will refund the reservation fee.
Operation terms
The terms and conditions for the operation of rubber boat tours provided by our company are as follows. Please read and understand the terms and conditions before boarding the tour.
A. Safety measures
While on board our vessel, you must follow our instructions to ensure a safe tour.
If we determine that changes in weather or water conditions during operation will impede safe operation, we may return to port earlier than originally scheduled or change the course and return port.
If we determine that safe operation cannot be continued due to other natural disasters, conflicts, etc., we may immediately cancel the operation. In addition, if a public institution gives instructions regarding operation, you must follow those instructions.
If a customer becomes suddenly ill or injured while on board and we determine that the injury is serious, we will immediately stop the operation and take measures such as rushing to the nearest dock or other place where the customer can disembark.
If we find that a customer has brought dangerous items or items prohibited by law, we will immediately stop the operation.
If a customer does not follow instructions to ensure safety and engages in dangerous or violent behavior, we will immediately stop the operation.
If a customer commits any other prohibited acts set out in these terms and conditions, the trip will be immediately cancelled.
If the trip is cancelled due to reasons 2. to 7. above, we will not provide refunds or accept claims for damages.
B. Decision on Operation
The decision on departure on the day of boarding is made by our company. If the decision is made to depart but the trip is cancelled at the customer's request, the cancellation fee set out in Article C-1 of the reservation conditions above will be charged.
C. Prohibited acts
The following acts are prohibited when operating our vessels. If any violation is found, the vessel will be immediately suspended.
Carrying on flammable or combustible substances, firearms, knives, or other dangerous objects
Carrying on anything that emits a foul odor
Diving into the water
Throwing or excreting objects into rivers or the sea
Any acts that our company considers to be violent, dangerous, or obscene
Damage, defacement, or theft of the vessel, power equipment, onboard equipment, or fixtures
Playing loud music or causing disturbances
Any acts that cause inconvenience to other passengers, vessels, coastal residents, or groups
Bringing pets on board
Smoking on board
Boarding in excess of the passenger capacity
Any other acts that our company considers to be inappropriate
Our company may claim compensation for damages caused by violations of the prohibited acts listed above. Claims for compensation will include compensation for the period of closure caused by the violation.
D. Disclaimer
Our company bears no responsibility for the following matters.
Damage caused by trouble between customers
Loss, theft, or falling into the water of personal belongings, excluding baggage entrusted to us
Damage caused by events planned by customers or by companies commissioned by customers
Food poisoning caused by food or drink brought by customers
Delays due to customers' convenience, delays in public transportation, or missed boarding due to road congestion
Damage caused by force majeure (natural disasters, conflicts, falling or invading wild animals and plants on board the ship)
Damage caused by objects falling from bridges, overpasses, coasts, the sky, etc.
Damage caused to customers due to prohibited acts stipulated in Article C-1 of the operating regulations
E. Our responsibility
In principle, the following matters are within the scope of our responsibility, but in the event of a collision accident with another company's ship, etc., we will cooperate with the relevant parties to fulfill our responsibilities.
Safe operation of the ship under circumstances in which it was decided to depart
Damage caused to customers due to our carelessness or negligence
Cancellation of operation due to deficiencies in our ship maintenance and repairs
Loss, theft, or falling into the water of baggage entrusted to us
●Precautions when boarding
Please arrive at the boarding location approximately 15 minutes before boarding. If you are delayed, please be sure to call us.
Large luggage cannot be carried on the boat. If you have large luggage, please let us know and we will store it in our vehicle.
For safety, we ask that you wear a life jacket. We will lend you a life jacket on the day, so please be sure to wear it.
There are no toilets on the boat. There are no toilet breaks even during the tour, so be sure to use the toilet before departure. There is a public toilet 3 minutes from the departure point, so please contact us if you are unsure.
You are free to bring drinks and food on board and eat and drink, but please use common sense.
On board, announcements about sights and other things will be made via a smartphone app, so please let us know in advance in which language you would like the announcements to be made.
The boat is completely outdoors. Please wear warm clothes in winter and cool clothes in summer.
●About bad weather
We will decide whether or not to depart due to weather in the evening of the previous day. Even if you have made a reservation, if bad weather is expected on the day, we will contact you the evening of the previous day to cancel the departure, so please understand. (In that case, we will refund the fee in full)
We may cancel the departure on the day due to a sudden change in weather. If the decision is made to cancel the departure, we will contact you as soon as possible, but the decision may be made at the time you arrive at the departure location. In that case, we will refund the fee in full, but please note that we cannot cover transportation costs to the departure location. In addition, we may turn back midway due to a sudden change in weather after departure. In that case, we will refund an appropriate amount depending on how the itinerary is completed.
We will generally depart in light rain. There is no roof on the boat, so please understand that you will get wet. (In the event of rain, we will lend you simple rain gear, but we cannot compensate for damage caused by rain on clothes or luggage)
